Moon Cake Packaging Design🥮

After nearly two months of fully immersed in the design of MsSOUP’s mooncake package design, I’m thrilled to finally share it with you all! From the initial design discussions to selecting the right manufacturer, explaining design details, getting quotes, sampling to the final printing and assembly, every step involved a meticulous process. When I saw the finished product, it was truly satisfying. I’m really thankful to Ms. SOUP for allowing me creative freedom throughout the design process, making it a delightful collaboration!

Color: Chose an elegant and fresh PALE PINK to highlight the brand image, that stands apart from the traditional, vibrant colors typically seen in Mid-Autumn mooncake boxes, such as red and gold.

Design: Traditional Mid-Autumn elements like lanterns, the moon, and rabbits were incorporated. The focal point of the box showcases ‘MOON CAKE’ carved in the shape of mooncakes. Inside, mooncake-shaped color blocks distinguish two mooncake flavors elegantly.

Printing: Selected textured kraft paper and added embossing for a distinctive leather-like feel. Debossing and hot stamping were used to create a layered effect with various lines and shapes. ‘MOON CAKE’ was laser-engraved for a detailed, 3D appearance. The bottom layer featured rough-textured patterned paper, enhancing the overall sense of depth.

月餅禮盒包裝設計🥮

忙了將近兩個月的月餅禮盒，終於終於要面世了!
這次為 Ms. SOUP設計的月餅禮盒，從最初的設計溝通到合適的廠商選擇，從向廠商說明設計要求到報價到打版，從紙材的選擇到每一個細節的工藝都經過了多道程序，最後看到成品時，真的感到很滿足。
很感謝 Ms. SOUP在設計上一直給我很大的自由度，雖然中間與印刷廠溝通上遇到很多難題，但真的是一次很愉快的合作經驗。

色調：有別於傳統中秋月餅禮盒的鮮艷的顏色，如紅色、金色，選用了優雅且清新的淡粉色，以突出品牌形象。

設計：融入了傳統中秋元素，如燈籠、月亮和兔子。禮盒正中部分以月餅的形狀雕刻出 “MOON CAKE” 字樣；內盒則使用月餅形狀的色塊，簡約區分兩種月餅口味。

印刷：表紙選用了牛皮紙並添加了壓紋，賦予它獨特的皮質手感。在工藝方面，採用了壓印和燙金，以突顯不同線條和形狀的層次感和手感。 月餅形狀的「MOON CAKE」字樣部分使用了雷射雕刻技術，呈現出精細的鏤空立體感，底部選用了紋理粗糙的花紋紙，進一步增添了立體層次感。
